Who is the teacher?
I’m Jocelyne, a native French speaker with a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE).
I have been teaching French to English speakers for several years, helping them learn French in a warm, supportive environment.
I was born, raised, and have lived all my life in France, a country that has profoundly shaped my identity and nurtured my love for culture and diversity. Coming from a multicultural family, I have developed a deep appreciation for diversity in all its forms.
I am passionate about exploring different cultures and meeting new people. Traveling is one of my greatest joys; I relish the opportunity to visit new cities and countries, each offering unique experiences and perspectives.
In addition to my love for travel, I have a deep appreciation for literature. I enjoy reading and writing, finding solace and inspiration in the written word !

What is your teaching approach?
I use a combination of implicit and explicit teaching methods. This means that while we focus on key grammar points and vocabulary, I also help you develop the right reflexes and ask the right questions to understand French naturally.
I guide you to immerse yourself in everyday spoken French. Each lesson revolves around a theme connected to a specific language point, including grammar, vocabulary, and discussion. This approach links written and spoken French to help you practice both in an integrated way.
How do the individual lesson work?
The individual lesson is your opportunity to put what you have learned into practice by speaking French. During this session, we will discuss the weekly theme, work on your speaking skills, and address any questions you may have about grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation. You will receive personalized feedback and guidance to help you gain confidence and become more comfortable using French in real-life situations.
Each week, we focus on topics you love while working on grammar, vocabulary, and fluency. The lessons are personalized and adapted to your learning pace.
Individual lessons are held online, typically via Zoom. You can schedule your class whenever you like during the week, with available slots from Tuesday to Saturday.
What does the program include, and how does it work?
My e-learning program consists of 12 interactive modules that cover grammar, vocabulary, and everyday situations. It’s designed to foster implicit learning through videos, exercises, and practical activities to strengthen your understanding.
Each module includes three videos focusing on the theme, pronunciation, and grammar, as well as quizzes and a task related to the topic. You will also have a weekly individual lesson, where you can choose a time slot that suits you.
How much time should I dedicate to the training each week?
I recommend setting aside between 2 and 4 hours per week for the program. This includes completing the weekly e-learning module, downloading and studying the PDF materials, taking the quizzes, completing the weekly assignment related to the topic, and attending your individual lesson. This weekly routine is designed to help you progress steadily in French while staying flexible and easy to fit into a busy schedule.
What is the price of the full 3-month training program ?
The 3-month e-learning program, including a weekly individual lesson, is offered at $699.
Who is my training for?
The training program is designed for beginners in French. Over these three months, you will learn how to introduce yourself, describe your daily routine, and have simple conversations on various topics such as travel, memories, projects, and dreams.
We will study the present tense, the near future, the past tense (part 1), and the imperfect tense, as well as key grammar points such as definite and indefinite articles, possessive adjectives, gender of nouns, and other essential foundations of French.
Most importantly, you will also develop an understanding of the logic behind the French language, helping you become more autonomous in your learning and in your use of the language.
Each week, you will explore a different theme.
